Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SellerReel is a UGC creator marketplace operated by AKSKOL (Shandong) Cross-Border E-Commerce Co., Ltd. ("AKSKOL", "we", "us"). We help Amazon brand sellers and DTC merchants commission short-form videos from verified creators across the US, UK, Germany and other markets.

Our company also operates the Chinese-language sister brand 飞兔拍 (feitupai.com). The two brands share the same legal entity, infrastructure, security controls and this privacy policy, but serve different markets and languages.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and profile

• Brand seller accounts: name, business email, company name, country, Amazon store name / brand registry status (optional), payment account (Stripe / wire details when paying).
• Creator accounts: name, email, country, Amazon Influencer storefront handle, social handles (Instagram / TikTok / YouTube — public), portfolio links, PayPal email (for payouts).
• OAuth identifiers: if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google ID, name, email and profile picture; if you sign in with Amazon Login with Amazon (LwA), we receive an Amazon User ID, name and email (per your consent screen).

2.2 Campaign content

• Product ASIN, title, image, description, brand brief, talking points, dos & don'ts.
• Sample shipment address (only if you opt in to physical sampling).
• Delivered video files (hosted on your behalf for download by the seller; we do not republish without consent).

2.3 Automatically collected

• Server access logs: IP address, User-Agent, referrer, request path, timestamps — used for security, abuse prevention and aggregated analytics.
• Click attribution: referral link clicks are de-identified and rate-limited (same IP / 24h is deduplicated).

3. How we use information

• To operate the SellerReel marketplace (matchmaking, briefs, deliverables, payments).
• To authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To communicate with you about campaigns, account changes, support requests and (optionally) product news.
• To compute aggregate, de-identified metrics that improve the product.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, anti-money-laundering, court orders).

We do not use your data for cross-context behavioural advertising, do not sell your data to data brokers, and do not train external AI models on your private campaign content.

4. Sharing and third-party processors

We share the minimum necessary information with vetted processors who act on our behalf:

• Amazon Web Services / Alibaba Cloud — server hosting (Hong Kong region).
• Resend — transactional email delivery (mail.sellerreel.com).
• Stripe — payment processing for seller deposits (USD).
• PayPal — creator payouts.
• Google OAuth / Amazon LwA — sign-in identity verification.
• RainforestAPI — Amazon product metadata enrichment (ASIN → title, image).
• Anthropic / OpenAI — AI-assisted brief drafting and analytics (only data you explicitly send to AI features).
• Creator counterparties — when you commission a campaign, the brief, product information and brand name are shown to the matched creator. We never share your phone number, billing details or internal notes with creators.
• Law enforcement — when compelled by valid legal process, we provide the narrowest possible response and notify you unless prohibited by law.

5. Amazon Advertising API data

If you connect your Amazon Advertising account to SellerReel, we will request the following scopes via Login with Amazon:

• advertising::campaign_management — read your Sponsored Products / Brands / Display campaign performance.
• profile — read your basic Amazon profile name (no email scraping).

We use Amazon Advertising data only to:

• Show you campaign performance dashboards inside your SellerReel account.
• Recommend creators whose past UGC has driven lift on similar ASINs.
• Generate aggregate ROI reports for campaigns commissioned via SellerReel.

We do not share Amazon Advertising data with other SellerReel users, sell it, use it to train ML models with other customers, or retain it after you disconnect your account. You can revoke access at any time from your account settings or from Amazon login console. After revocation we delete cached campaign data within 30 days. This complies with the Amazon Advertising API License Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use a small set of first-party cookies and localStorage keys:

• sr_session — login session (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 30 days).
• sr_ref — referral attribution (30 days).
• admin_sess — internal staff session (only set on our admin domain).
• sr_admin_username (localStorage) — convenience: remember last admin username on login screen. Never the password.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser; SellerReel will simply prompt you to sign in again.

7. Storage, security and retention

• Hosting: Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong ECS (encrypted disks). Transport: TLS 1.2+ end-to-end.
• Access control: role-based access (super / overseas / cn_sales / viewer) with audit logging on every administrative action.
• Password storage: Werkzeug PBKDF2-SHA256 hashing — we never store, log or transmit plaintext passwords.
• Retention: account data is kept while your account is active; after account closure we delete personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (financial / tax records — up to 5 years per applicable law).
• Backups: daily encrypted backups, 14-day rolling window, stored in the same region.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you have some or all of the following rights:

• Access / portability — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — fix inaccurate or outdated information.
• Deletion / "right to be forgotten" — request erasure of your account and personal data.
• Objection / restriction — object to specific processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Withdraw consent — for processing based on consent, you can withdraw at any time.
• Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority (e.g. ICO in the UK, your EU member state DPA, the California Attorney General).

To exercise any right, email jeffrey@akskol.com. We respond within 30 days. For GDPR / UK GDPR requests we may ask for identity verification.

9. International data transfers

SellerReel is operated from China and Hong Kong. If you access our service from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, your data will be transferred outside your local jurisdiction. We rely on (a) your explicit consent (when you sign up), (b) contractual necessity (to deliver the service you ordered), and (c) standard contractual clauses with our sub-processors where applicable.

10. Children

SellerReel is a B2B platform for businesses and adult content creators. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact jeffrey@akskol.com and we will delete the account.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes affecting your rights, we will give at least 7 days' notice by email and via an in-app banner before the change takes effect.
